Blogville

A post of their own? Is she mad?? Letting Miss Oswin and Brom take over once a week? But then I got to thinking: my Mum always loves seeing photos of my felines and even though my Dad sighs and rolls his eyes at the thought of Brom coming on holiday with us to Scotland (including kilt if you please, I just have to sew one, any bear kilt patterns are greatly appreciated), he accepts and thinks his daughter is lovable anyway. Either that or stark raving mad and I prefer to think he would think the first!

However, letting Miss Oswin and Brom take over is not an option really. For starters, Miss Oswin was highly jealous of Brom. Not necessarily of the travelling: she couldn't care less, but about being allowed to write! Having them do anything together would not be the best idea at all. But, having her write on her own, unless we (Brom and I) are away on holiday would be okay. So, that's what will happen from now on. One day a week Miss Oswin will get the chance to have her say. I dread to think what she will come up with...

  1. I know other blogging people who dress and travel with a teddy ! There is one she loves the English royalties and she had her Teddy dressed as Diana, Kate, etc ! Another one uses it at birthdays as a birthday bear and it is always dressed according the hobbies of the birthday girl or boy ! So you are not the only one (you can tell your father) !

  2. Crikey ..... how good is this???? Aunty talked you into it. Good on Aunty ...... I'm so glad. I'm not a big cat fan. They don't seem to like me. I chase 'em and they turn around and spit and hiss at me but I sure hope we can be friends. You wouldn't hiss at me would you?? I can't wait to hear what you come up with and I can't wait to see Brom in his kilt. I must say .... you're very good lookin' (for a cat).

    1. I gave her an extra cuddle today and didn't drool a bit! Which is something Mara likes very much.

  4. I can't wait to read Miss Oswin's writing! You are wise not to let Brom and Oswin write at the same time.

    1. I know, I know Bella, Roxy and Dui but we gotta be nice to this cat, aye?? I think we can talk her into NOT hissing or spittin' at us. It'll be hard but we can do it.

    2. As long as nobody will be chasing me, I might not hiss. Spitting is not ladylike at all and I would never do it.

  10. Welcome Welcome! So glad to meet you and Mom smiled when she saw the Norway part. Her Grandfather is from Norway and her Great Uncle was a Captain on a Norwegian vessel named the Marie Bakke. Mom got to go on it once when she was tiny for a tour she was told, but she was too little to remember. So glad to meet you. Abby the Lab

    1. Well, I am the only one who is from Norway, but I don't speak Norwegian at all. I only speak Dutch because Mara is from the Netherlands and that's where they speak Dutch. She then changes the Dutch in English on the blog for me. Brom is from the Netherlands too and he has been lots of other places as well with Mara. I hope I don't have to go travelling all over too! I don't like cars and such...

    1. Oh no, I don't like wild! I like sleeping and watching what happens outside and mice. Mara says I will have to try and find a mouse someday when she has that flashy thing in her hand and then she will take a picture and put it on her blog for me. I hope so, so everybody can see I am really good with mice!

    1. Well of course you need more cats. Cats are after all waaaay superior to dogs in every way! And I don't invade anybody's yard, although I did visit a farm once, but then fell into the cow poop. Yuck. Mara had to give me two baths and two showers and then I smelled of apple shampoo! And Mara had to get shot [ie needed a tetanus injection] after that!
