Day 14: Christmas cards

This year we took part in the Blogville Christmas Card exchange. Since we love getting mail, we thought that might be the perfect way to receive some cards, especially in this day and age of emails and such.

Of course there is also the Card Count. Who gets more? Mara or Brom and Miss Oswin. So far...

It may only be one, but it is a cute one!
Mara: 1. Brom and Miss Oswin (and yes, a bit Mara as well): 9 paper cards and 10 virtual cards. We have cards with dirty paws, kittens, snow freaks (also known as snowmen), dogs, Santa and lots and lots and lots more.

One thing we do know: next year we are going to make our own PRE-PRINTED card! And we are going to buy self licking envelopes.

PS we see ours arrived in Norway. I think that is the first time we've sent a card to Norway.

    1. Hope it's not bills. That would be such a downer.

  3. Our mom hates that licking so she uses stickers and tape.

  7. Sorry for the delete, I went to correct a typo and deleted a bunch of words. It's the lack of opposable thumbs.

We got your card today. We don't know if you've visited us, but we were honored to be part of the card exchange. My Mom's Mom was a "Gullikson" and for my Mom, who is an adopted at birth English/Scot gal who spent her weekend making lefse, your card and words warmed her heart, as she lost her Mom to cancer as a teen. Bless you.

    1. You are welcome Abby. I have never made lefse. In fact, after four years in Norway, I haven't even tasted it yet! Something to be remedied I think.
