This morning Mara and I were up before the crack of dawn, because we were going on a our holiday. We would be flying to the Netherlands and there we would meet up with Mara's sister Gera and then take the train to Mara's parents.
We took first class all the way. The taxi to the airport was really nice (even if the driver couldn't find us at first) and then we sat nearly all the way in the front of the plane. We got breakfast, but Mara scoffed it all down before she remembered to take a photo. And then after we changed planes, she got another breakfast and again she forgot to take a picture!
When we got to Amsterdam we had to wait for ages. Some say it might have been 87 hours, but Mara says it wasn't. It was long though! Finally though, Mara's sister came through the door and we could take the train.
This time we took the right train. Mara and her sister Gera read the signs carefully so we wouldn't take the wrong one and then we enjoyed the ride. We were picked up by Mara and Gera's dad.
I could get used to this first class thing you know. I just hope that next time Mara will remember to take photos!
