Well, there are not many places in the world who use this beautiful script to tell you where the underground or subway is. This of course is Paris and the signs to the metro and plenty were correct this week. Points go to...
My story? I have not been to Paris that often actually as my job mostly took me over the pond to the UK, but when my parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, they took children and grandchildren to France for a week and we had the chance to see both Eurodisney and Paris. My sister and I explored Paris and loved it. And yes, we even took the metro.
No idea where this is I am afraid, but it looks like a buiding that was built for staging the Olympics, so it could be in ......

ReplyDeleteWell, it's clearly a stadium... and I have a notion I've seen this before but am struggling to recall from where. I know I have not seen or been to it. Oohoohooh... inspiration coming through...and I am basing this solely on my knowledge of your adventures and hints from the background, but is this in Canada??? (Which I guess means Alberta, as I don't know how much of the country you covered...) Pure guesswork this week!!! YAM xx
I won't spoil it, but I know that arena. Actually I don't know it exactly, but it does kind of resemble a saddle. don't you think?
ReplyDeleteNo clue but we have a similar shaped building(Dorton Arena) here in Raleigh but the colors are different.

Similar shape to the London 2012 velodrome so assume it's another Olympic city's velodrome.
ReplyDeleteWe also have no idea where this is but it definitely looks like some sort of stadium. We are going to guess that it is for racing of some sort...maybe for bicycles.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that trip was to Paris with your parents. No I haven't seen the new one but it looks like it would have something to do with sports.
