The goodies I got from the annual International market (about 10 stalls): 6 French yumminesses (gone the same day, they were just too good) and 4 packs of 'stroopwafels' or Dutch syrup waffles. I didn't think they would last, but so far I have not even finished the first pack. Mmmmmmmm.
I am not a sweet girl, never was. My father said that I was not normal because I didn't like chocolate or sweets when I was a child, lol !

ReplyDeleteGenerally can say 'no' to moste cakes... but stroopwafels are in a league all their own!!! YAM xx
Oh, aren't they just? I can eat them until I feel sick and then eat one more! But I am restraining myself for the moment. For however long that may last...
DeleteI wish you wouldn't post photos of goodies as I have to go and find something to eat now!
ReplyDeleteSorry!
DeleteOh, they do look delicious! Another reason I enjoy your blog is that I often learn something new. Whenever you mention something I'm not familiar with (like stroopwafels or voodoos) I Google it. Thank you for writing such a fun blog.
ReplyDeleteI think you must mean hoodoos, since I can't recall ever talking about voodoos. At least not to my knowledge. I might have been voodooed into forgetting all about it though!
DeleteThank you for the compliment.
Those look delicious!
ReplyDeleteI tell you what: they are/were!
DeleteDouble yummmy!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs madi and mom
You're right, I did mean hoodoos. I was quite impressed to learn of a totally different meaning than what I was used to. Unfortunately I came up with a totally different spelling this time.
ReplyDeleteThey look so delicious!
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm for sure. Like those waffles, too.
