There are a couple of very noisy sea gulls living close by and they holler at anybody walking past: go away! Well, in sea gull talk of course. They are not just ordinary grumpy sea gulls, they are parents and the people walking past are getting too close to their chick. Or so they think!

Because most people will never see the chick. Because it lives on the roof of the boat dealership and I have yet to see anyone climb a ladder to said roof.

  2. Oh no not obnoxious gulls...we have some nasty, loud crows who have been hanging around our neighborhood all spring and now summer. They dive bombed Gracie our Highlander and OMCS it looked like a dinosaur had been there.

  4. We have sea gulls that like to live on the flat tops of abandoned buildings, even if they're miles away from any lake. One day ghostwriter saw a huge flock of them come flying up from a vacant store roof. Someone must have been trying to scare them away.

    1. Well, apparently they have started living nearer people because it's less trouble to get food that way. Municipal dumps, discarded food, bins: easy picking. Especially compared to having to fish for your food.
