Books

And here I was thinking I had already done so much! How wrong can a person be? Fortunately most of the information for one book can be used one on one in the other, but still. Finding the information, cutting it down into readable stuff, getting photos to accompany the stories (preferably family photos).

However, I am moving along. Slowly but surely, chapters are there (1-4 so far, with 5 quite far along) and it starts looking good. In one book at least. The other is not quite as far, but as I said, most basic information is the same and the only thing left is finding people and stories from the past.

Even though I have had some extra days off since the weekend, the headache actually prevented me from doing much. Which is a shame, but that's the way it is. I will have to work extra hard from now on.

I am very pleased with how it's starting to look though! Yeah!!

    1. Seeing the chapters come up and be finished is a real boost for me. Even though I do wonder whether I will make it on time. Mind you, I probably will pull an all-nighter or two to get it finished in the end. Knowing me...

  4. I'm glad that they are coming together for you. My knee has become suddenly worse, constant pain and the frustration makes it hard for me to concentrate these days. I barely have the patience to watch movies! Hope you have good luck with your new medications.

  6. Do you know how many chapters you will be writing? Sounds like you are putting yourself under pressure to complete. Hope not. Writing anything with a migraine must be impossible.

    1. There will be about 18, although some only outline or begin another chapter (like having children and losing children). It is fun to do though, even though I have a time limit. Mind you, without any time limit I could continue for another five years without any problem, so I had to set myself a limit in order to get something to actually show for it!

  7. This is quite the undertaking for you. You write so well and do things to near perfection so I know it will be wonderful!

    1. Thank you, but I think I might have bitten off more than I can chew right now. I have two weeks with long shifts ahead of me, so only the evenings and weekends left. But I will try and get it done. Fingers (and everything else) crossed.
