During my walk yesterday, I came upon this pond/ditch/watery bit. That was not what drew me to it though. It was the slimy bits in the whatever it was. And since I had my camera at the ready, here are some of the photos!
It looks a bit like sail boats, but with green sails, don't they? Especially the one at the bottom. Not sure how seaworthy it would be, what with all those holes!

ReplyDeleteArtistically taken... that is the sort of primordial ooze which produces life... &*> YAM xx
Let's just hope it doesn't produce dinosaurs!
DeleteI have been catching up with your posts -- 14 of them, although I misses a few concentrating on the recovery posts. Congrats on the 'no cancer' and the fact that you seem to be getting close to normal. I had a week away and haven't felt like doing the blog thing since then, but I did want to check in with you.
ReplyDeletePicturesque from a distance. Wouldn't want to be in that water. And yes I am hoping to visit and record all underground stations. Having started this project I now realise it will probably take between 8-10 years to complete!
ReplyDeleteMade me think of frog spawn -- but doesn't look like ours. Our frogs started singing last night. They sing for a couple of hours a night then quit sometime in July.
ReplyDeleteThat's really different. I believe it is an algae. I saw some similar pictures online but couldn't find the exact form of it.
ReplyDeleteString algae the bane of our garden pond
