Rain, wind and more rain and wind were the words of the day today. And in the midst of all that rain and wind I had to go get myself some groceries. I had run out of bread and I was low on milk. And I just reminded myself I forgot the soap. Anyhow.I also did some pre-work laundry, so I won’t have to show up to work tomorrow wearing dirty clothes, I watched the Tour de Ski (cross-country skiing) and had another slice of the really nice apple pie I made on New Year’s Eve.
Life is about to start again!

Life has a way of catching up with all of us, doesn't it? Especially when we run out of bread and milk. LOL

We ran out of tea! Unheard of . . . I made bread in the breadmaker.
I am also out of milk... but it's snowing and I'm not going out there!
We're in a deep freeze right now, but after tonight it should just become a freeze and not so much a deep freeze.
Of couse when you need to run errands its bound to rain! Happens to me often.
If the rain that poured down the last days had been snow, it certainly would have looked the way it does on that picture.
(I don't know what I would have liked better, though...)
Life does seem to be starting again after all the holiday crazyness. I keep having to remind myself that I have 360 odd days to catch up on all I didn't do for two months.
The poor horses, cats, dogs and I were out in a huge hailstorm this morning. Such fun! And I too did my grocery shopping, albeit earlier this week, in the pouring rain and storm. The wind blew the lid of the boot of the car down on my head as I was loading the groceries in the car. Oh joy.

Hah! I just read your Water post on Reader even though it isn't here yet. It's odd when that happens, but it does form time to time. Hope you keep dry.
We are sitting in the same boat ! Weatherwise ! Awful, just stay in bed and wait that the winter goes by !
