Duck eggs. Bought at the large market at Nutt's Corner close to home.

    1. Tja, veel vlies. Volgens de parentalen waren het niet echte wilde eendeneieren en de smaak was dus minder. Kan ik net zo goed kippeneieren eten...

    1. I didn't think they were that special to be honest. Perhaps because they weren't from proper wild ducks, just from farmed ducks and according to my parents the taste was just not the same.

    2. ...not sure I've tasted wild variety... my uncle bred ducks for their eggs - but they were free range and foraged for their food. .. definition of 'feral'??? Big orange yolks. yum... Yxx

    1. Make sure you get the wild duck ones then. Probably more taste. They are bigger though!!

  4. Once I found a robin's nest right at my nose level in the backyard pear tree. I did't pay any attention to it until, one morning, four little blue eggs appeared in the nest. Before my ghostwriter could see what I was doing, I ate up all of those eggs in the blink of an eye. They were very yummy!
