It's Mothering Sunday over here in Norway. The day where mothers get breakfast in bed, home-made gifts from their children and they have to spend all of Monday cleaning the bed and the kitchen.
It is of course also Valentine's Day! The day where lovers and would be lovers give flowers/presents/cards or just forget the whole thing.
Because of the occasion(s) I baked a carrot cake. Well, I say that, but I baked one last week as well for no reason at all. I did bake this one in a heart shaped form and covered it with pink icing though.

ReplyDeleteThat's a fairy tale about mother day, lol ! and Valentine's is not so much celebrated in Belgium only between young couples. I didn't even know about it when I was 20 !
