Remember when Wuppie slid off the bench a few weeks ago? If not, read here. Well, yesterday as he was asleep next to me, he woke up and started walking around like a drunk, falling over several times. And again it looked as if he had hurt his leg. When I got hold of him though and touched the leg, he didn't flinch and nothing felt out of the ordinary. I let him walk then and he was walking fine too.
I know he's getting on a bit, but still this is worrying me a bit. I will have to keep a close eye on him.
My knee is sometime a little stiff when I first wake up, and I sometimes careen a bit. Once I'm up it tends to be fine. Maybe it's the same for Wuppie.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's what Anvilcloud says! I think it's a good idea to keep an eye on Wuppie, though. You are such a good kitty mommy!
ReplyDeleteHmm, weird...
ReplyDeleteSometimes cats are in such a deep sleep that suddenly they fall even from a table, which happened to my Arthur a few years ago !
ReplyDelete14 years is not old for a cat, my cats made it all to nearly 20 ! He must have something in his head which makes him dizzy. Lisa when she was 18 sometimes also walked like a drunken sailor but then it went by. Keep an eye on him and eventually have him checked by the vet.
I hope he is okay. That is kind of strange.
