Yeti
Well, I found him! The real yeti. At least I thought it was. And then I saw his boots... Massive disappointment of course. No fame and fortune for being the first one to spot a live yeti.
Mind you, if this had been the real yeti, it would probably have felt a bit lost, since its habitat is somewhere in the Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet! Of course I am now assuming it's real and not a myth, which quite a lot of people seem to be thinking! A legend, a myth, a relative of Bigfoot (who by the by lives in North America) and never captured in real life, on photo or film. Not counting the hazy and vague photos and films that have emerged over the years.
So, what is this if not a yeti? Well, it's a soldier in camouflage. Because soldiers don't only fight in hot countries, sometimes they see cold countries as well. And if you can be invisible, you're ahead of your enemy!

So, most of him is invisible in the snow, except his boots. "Hey, look at those boots walking along by themselves. No, there's a shovel, too. Oh, and a pair of gloves. Must be a soldier."
ReplyDeleteJust wait until you get to Canada, you can meet the Sasquatch. He's big and brown and furry and lives in the mountains of southern BC. (His American cousin is the Bigfoot.)

I thought maybe he lost a battle in a toilet paper factory

That's a pretty roundabout and clever way to get a Y post.
ReplyDeleteYour Yeti wouldn't blend in very well here...our six inches of snow melting during one warm day. :( It is no longer warm, and Lily is hoping that it snows again soon!
ReplyDeleteBig Bird's cousin? Whoever he is, he certainly looks exhausted.
ReplyDeleteAre you SURE it's not a yeti with corrective footwear?

ReplyDeleteIf you believe, i believe too
That's the first Yeti I met, today for the meme and in general, lol !
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a paper puzzle
I was thinking the same as Ricies, someone got lost in a toilet paper factory! What a hoot! And a great one for the Y Day!!! Hope your week is going well!

Poor chap!
ReplyDeleteit would be fun to get the trio together - a sasquatch, a bigfoot and a booted yeti! Good capture!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you explained that. I never thought about the clothing when fighting in an area with snow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great uniform.
Good heavens - he's NOT a yeti? Are you sure?
ReplyDeleteI hope he does work in cold climates or he'd melt under all that raggy clothing! LOL!
I want that for my next Halloween costume!
