Tuesday's Travels 22-14

Last week's challenge was of course the Sacré Coeur in Paris, France and plenty of you did get that right. So, points go to Yamini, Fun60, Bettina, Harm, Debby and Hilary.
My story? During the same trip to Paris as the Versailles outing, my sister and I spent a day in Paris doing the rounds. And one thing we also saw was this church. We got all the way up there (I think we took the funiculaire), but did not go inside, which is something that needs to be rectified at some point in the future I think.

On to this week's challenge then. Where is this? Have you ever been? Tell us your story. Answer next week.

  1. Hari OM
Crikey, more of a who is this photo this week! I have been studying the uniform and I think the silk cords are Slavic uniform of some description... did you go to Slovakia? OHHHH, maybe Czech... Croatia??? Stabbing in the dark here! Oh wait, I just recalled you went to Prague - some building in Prague??? YAM xx

  2. Hooray, I finally knew one that I have been to. I have no clue on this new one.

  3. Dit is de paleiswacht voor de Praagse Burcht. In 2001 geweest tijdens een stedentrip die we van onze kinderen hadden gekregen. In juni 2007 weer geweest met Harm en Ina. Heb precies dezelfde foto in fotoalbum.

  4. I was wondering about either Rome or Paris for the top photo. In the end I chose wrong.
I think this was taken in Prague, Chechia - Chech Republic - Tsjechië - don't know.

  5. I am late with an answer to this one, but then I am not sure I know where this guard/soldier is. I think eastern Europe, maybe Czech Republic and Slovakia or Poland. Just a guess I am afriad. Hope you are ok.

  6. And once more I am clueless. Hugs

Any weighty (and not so weighty) comments are welcome!
