Tuesday's Travels 22-05

Well, some of you knew where this was, either from personal experience (Janice: 1 point) or from realising where I have been (Yamini: 1 point). It was of course Lake Louise in Canada.
My story? I visited Canada in 2011 and went to Lake Louise with a Canadian friend. There were three things that stood out for me that day: 1. it was beautiful and cold. 2. There was a wedding and I just thought that bride was going to freeze! Did I mention it was cold? 3. I saw wildlife up close and personal. In fact the only wildlife I saw up close and personal during my whole trip to Canada. Two chipmunks! Yes, I saw Chip 'n' Dale!

Anyway, moving on to this week's challenge. Where is this? Have you ever been? Tell us your story. Answer next week!

  1. I have no idea ! For the Seven Sisters in the UK it's too high so it must be in another country or continent. Bettina (above my comment) is convinced that it is Norway, maybe she is right !

  6. We have no idea where that is, but it looks kind of scary and think there should be a railing to keep people from falling off.

  7. We saw a big moose on the highway in Banff Park on our way back to Calgary. And plenty of elk in Jasper.

  11. Not a clue. I would not be one of the folks standing at that location. Kudos to anyone brave enough to stand there! Hugs.

  12. Hilarious Mara...the very fist time I saw a chipmunk was at the Toronto Zoo. It was munk love at first sight. We didn't have them here in NC. Then fast forward at 15 years I when I was walking across NC State University campus lo and behold several chipmunks ran by me. Now we have them all over the back yard.

New challenge if I have ever been to that location I can assure you I did not visit that particular place. I don't do heights with walls much less w/o any kind of protection.
    Hugs Cecilia
