Tuesday's Travels 22-19

I am back at the computer again! And here to tell you about last week's challenge. Which you all knew as the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, USA. Points to Gera, Hilary, Yamini, Millie & Walter, Fun60, Debby and Gerrit.
My story? I obviously have never visited, but it was one of the cards I received through Postcrossing. When I run out of photos of places I have been, I can use those. As long as I crop a bit better than I did this time around...

On to this week's challenge. What and where is this? Have you ever been? Tell us your story. Answer next week.

PS: Update: I got my days muddled up: I thought today was Tuesday. So sorry.

Hmmm... well, that looks susiciously like a sliding tunnel from a winter Olympics (bobsled, skeleton etc)... which one though? I am going to have a stab again only because I know of your places visited and say this is the one in Calgary?

AS for the days - don't worry, I did exactly the same to someone yesterday, thinking I was on Monday... YAM xx

  2. That looks like a bobsled track, but we have no idea where it is except to guess in Germany based on the language on the big curve.

  3. I haven't been there but I wonder if it is the Cresta run.

  4. I thought that was what it was but figured you had never been there. I have no clue on the next one. Hope you're doing okay.

  5. Bobsleigh track in Tignes/Val d'Isert (not sure I spelled this correctly) France?

  6. Volgens mij de bob- en rodelbaan in Winterberg, Duitsland. In oktober 2012 zijn we hier 5 dagen in de buurt met een groep van het Zuiderboeltje (petanque) geweest.

  7. It looks like a winter sports arena for when they go down on the 'tea tray', or the bobsleigh, but no idea where it is.
