When I was in Northern Ireland recently, I saw blooming crocuses and even some daffodils. In Norway the snow drops are just coming up. And it is snowing again.
These poor daffodils are doing their very best, but they came up about two weeks ago and since then have had to deal with snow, frost, more snow and more frost.
It's amazing what daffodils can survive through.

ReplyDeleteI must look closer at folks gardens when I go up the street... from the Hutch's window, it all sitll looks very winterish! YAM xx
For some reason I keep expecting it to be a lot warmer outside than it actually is. And I can't wait for the trees to turn green again!
DeleteI spy some blooms!!! WooHoo
ReplyDeleteThose daffies are hearty

Same here: snow, frost, snow, and more snow. No flowers around here yet. But it was nice to see those snowdrops.
ReplyDeleteThe snow we had today was small flakes that didn't stay. I just want warmer weather and see more flowers.
DeleteIt was 32 C here yesterday. Got all sweaty watching the soccer game of Youngest grandson. The bluebonnets are beginning to boom. However, tonight a cool front is coming through with lows around 4-5 C. Spring is a fickle friend.
ReplyDeleteWell, that would be a bit much for me, but high teens would be nice. Yes, that would be really nice!
DeleteSPRING!!!! Aren't snowdrops the first sign of SPRING?????
