Photo on Sunday 2016-23

The personal belongings of the athletes participating in the Haugesund Iron Man. Nearly 1700 bags. It took close to two hours to sort them and hang them up in numerical order. We were about 20 doing this!

Every athlete that completed the Iron Man (and wasn't disqualified) got a medal.

The winner: Norwegian Gustav Iden. He completed the course in just under 3h45m.

    1. The last man to hobble in, needed more than double that time. And I would have needed a day! I was very impressed by it all though.

    1. There were Dutch, Belgians, Poles, Swedes, Fins, Turks, French, Eastern European (didn't recognize all the flags, just now they are from Eastern Europe), Australian and/or New Zealand, American and British. And there were probably a few more I have missed.

    1. And after everything was hung up, we double checked and still people got the wrong bag! Even I gave a gentleman the wrong number bag. Same numbers, different order! He wasn't angry though.
