1. I had a cat called Julius.
2. I don't like mushrooms.
3. I don't mind mushroom soup though. As long as there are no mushrooms in it.
4. I have the whole series of M*A*S*H on dvd.
5. Yet I still will watch it on television when it's on.
6. I love Eurovision (in case you didn't know).
7. I don't remember much from when I was 16 years old.

8. My favourite flowers are carnations. Especially deep red ones. Even if they are considered funeral flowers here in Norway.
9. I cried buckets when I saw Hachi. Embarassingly so. Really, it was ugly! Like snot and such!!
10. I spend too much time on the internet. Even if I am on sick leave.
11. I like reading romance novels. You know the ones: boy meets girl, they fight over something silly, they make up, they live happily ever after.
12. Yet, I am reading The Gulag Archipelago by Alexandr Solzhenitsyn at the moment. Not light reading by anybody's standards.
13. I can't think of a number 13. I really can't.
14. I always try to sit on the right hand side of a plane, preferably by the window.

15. I have amazing friends and family.
16. I don't really like roses.
17. I have close to 300 Christmas films.
18. I turned 28 in 1999.
19. I have one little brother and one little sister.
20. I am however the smallest of the three.
21. I have been known to become travel sick on both bus, car and boat.

22. I am a romantic at heart. Deep down.
23. I used to be so surprised when boys knew my name. Even if we had spent eight years in the same classroom!
24. My first car was a Fiat Panda.
25. I don't really have a favourite colour. I like different colours for different things.
26. My eyes are blue.
27. I still have a teddy bear, although it has been a few years since he last spent time in my bed.
28. This post has taken me about two hours to write. So, you had better appreciate the effort!!!

This post is prompted by Spin Cycle. Thank you Ginny Marie at Lemon Drop Pie.

  1. What do you mean by spending too much time on internet, I have the time and I use it I don't know if it's too much ! I love sunflowers the most !
    That's a long list !

  2. What a great list! I cried like a baby at Hachi, too. It was so, so sweet and sad! I would definitely recommend it, though. Unlike you, I love mushrooms but not mushroom soup. My sister would always pick out her mushrooms and give them to me to eat!

  3. Hari OM
time well spent... and I do!!! YAM xx

    1. Well, I was watching television at the same time as well. And thank you for being appreciative.

  4. Well Considering it took 2 hours I am pretty doggone appreciative.

  5. I love your list. Lots of info about you. I had you picked out in the photo before reading you were the oldest. Glad you are feeling good enough to be on the internet!

    1. Yes, apart from growing older I haven't changed that much. Besides, I am holding my teddybear as well!

  6. Ok, I have to see Hachi. Both you and Ginny recommend it so I better check it out.

Curious...what is Eurovision? BTW, I love the pic of the bicycle covered with snow. :)

    1. You don't know Eurovision? The biggest music contest in the world? Watched by the whole of Europe, parts of Asia and Australia? Okay: think strange dresses (12 feet high), weird acts (bearded lady: last year's winner), silly songs and the occasional massive song (Waterloo by ABBA). And that is only a tiny part of it!!!

  7. Coming up with 28 things is tough. Thanks for sharing!

  8. I only read romance novels! I like a window sit but I almost always sit on isle because I don't like to bother anyone if I have to go potty. I also spend too much time on the internet. I appreciate your effort with this post!

  9. Great list. I love reading romanace novels too!

  10. Love your list. It took me a while to write mine. So yes, I do appreciate your list.

  11. You are so funny! "I can't think of a number 13. Really I can't." Ha!

My list took a really long time, too. Days, in fact, because it involved finding quotes and matching them with pictures and then editing them on picmonkey. I was exhausted by the end of the week!

    1. Oh, I thought my two hours was long enough! I couldn't have done with days of it!

Any weighty (and not so weighty) comments are welcome!
