Oldtimer
I am not particularly bothered by cars. As long as they get me where I want to go I am fine. If they are bright pink, it's even better (I know I know). But seeing a long line of all those oldtimers in the Irish countryside even made my heart flutter a bit!
It was a rally and the cars and their drivers came mostly from Spain and Portugal and they all looked so proud of their vehicles. I was driving my coach at the time and all of a sudden I saw one of them. I stopped the coach and let him pass and just as I was about to continue driving, I saw another one coming and another and another! I motioned them to stop so I could reverse and let them pass me by without problems. My passengers loved it and so did I. Another highlight of Ireland!

I have to be honest here: it was my Dad with his camera on a trip with me. And since I lost all my photos in a fight with my computer...

Wonderful old cars - we ran across a procession like this in France and were so impressed by the loving restorations that had taken place.
My father-in-law has some old cars from c 1938. He loves them.

I love vintage cars they are so classy! I always enjoyed the antiques rallies with my parents when I was younger!
We used to have a 1936 Pontiac that we turned into a street rod and took to car shows. It was such fun! They just don't make 'em like that anymore.
I love seeing old cars on the road - in the main because it reminds me of being a child and seeing lots of Morris Minors and Hillmans, Humbers etc. (I must say I'm not THAT old to remember the cars in your picture though!)

I sometimes see rallies around here, but most of the cars are probably form the fifties or sixties, which means that they still look modern to me. :)
It's lovely to see these old cars, isn't it? I've seen part of the London to Brighton rally on two occasions, and it just makes me smile!
